Not at all. RESET is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering depth for those who already have an established practice.
Everything is taught progressively, with guidance along the way. No previous experience is required.
Most days, you’ll spend approximately 10–20 minutes practicing with a guided video.
Depending on the week, your practice may include breathwork, kriya, meditation, mantra or a combination of these tools.
You’ll also learn shorter practices, including tools that may take as little as 3 minutes, for moments when you need a RESET but don’t have time for a longer practice.
Research on shorter, structured mind-body practices has explored this same 21-day window. Published studies using 21-day relaxation and meditation interventions have reported measurable improvements in perceived stress and other measures of well-being.
RESET uses this three-week period as a meaningful window for learning, repetition and consistent practice. Each week builds on the one before it, giving you time to experience the practices, repeat them and begin noticing which tools are most supportive for you.
Twenty-one days isn’t a magic number or a promise of a specific outcome. It’s a meaningful amount of time to practice consistently, become familiar with the tools and experience what they may offer.
Kriya is a practice that may combine repetitive movement, breath, focused awareness and sometimes sound in a purposeful sequence.
Within RESET, Kriya is taught as an embodied practice that can help shift attention, create greater awareness of your internal state and offer an active way to work with the breath and body.
Each practice is guided, and no previous yoga experience is needed.
A mantra is a word, sound or phrase used as a point of focus. Japa is the meditative practice of repeating a mantra.
Within RESET, mantra and Japa are introduced as tools for giving a busy or repetitive mind one steady place to rest its attention.
You’ll be guided through the practice, and no knowledge of Sanskrit is required.
RESET does not require adherence to any religion, spiritual belief or philosophy.
Some of the practices taught within RESET have roots in ancient yogic and contemplative traditions, and those origins are acknowledged with respect. They are presented in an accessible way that allows participants to experience the practices without adopting a particular belief system.
You do not need to use Sanskrit to participate. Alternative points of focus will be offered so you can experience repetition and focused attention in a way that feels comfortable and appropriate for you.
Not much. No special equipment or supplies are required.
All you need is access to the EXPAND+BREATHE app, a comfortable place to practice and a little time set aside for yourself.
If sitting in a chair or on a cushion makes your practice more easeful, please do. A mala is not required for the Japa practices, but if you already have one and enjoy using it, you’re welcome to include it.
Most importantly, choose a place where you can practice safely and give yourself a few uninterrupted minutes.
RESET practices should not be done while driving or operating machinery.
No. The three live sessions are an opportunity to learn together, experience the practices with guidance and ask questions, but attendance is not required to participate in RESET.
Each session will be recorded so you can continue with the program on your own schedule.
Nothing has gone wrong.
RESET is designed around practice, not perfection. If you miss a day, simply continue when you’re able. There’s no need to double up or try to catch up.
You’ll also have an additional seven days of access after the 21-day guided experience to revisit practices or catch up on anything you’ve missed.
RESET is not a workout program.
Movement practices are intentionally approachable and center around breath, awareness and repetitive movement rather than physical intensity.
Options and modifications will be offered where appropriate, and participants are encouraged to practice within their own comfort and physical capacity.
Everything is in one place.
Your guided practices, weekly RESET Practice Guides and private RESET community are available together inside the EXPAND+BREATHE app.
Program communication and reminders may also be delivered through the app, email or text so you can stay connected throughout the experience.
RESET includes 28 days of access to your guided practices and program materials.
The guided experience takes place over 21 days, followed by an additional 7-day integration period to revisit practices, catch up on anything you’ve missed and reflect on the tools you want to continue using.
The live RESET experience and private community take place during the 21-day program.
After your 28-day access period, you’ll have the option to separately enroll in continued access to the RESET guided practice library for $11.99/month + processing fees.
This optional membership is not automatically added to your RESET purchase and can be canceled at any time.
Due to the digital nature of RESET and access to program materials, all RESET purchases are final and non-refundable.
Participants receive the full access period, including recordings of the live sessions, so you can continue moving through the practices even if you’re unable to participate on the original schedule.
